Hi, I've noticed you post here, but I have no solution, others here may but have not responded yet.

I thought it may be of use to post a link to the mandriva forum @ Mandriva

and also the kde equivalent.

http://forum.mandriva.com/

http://www.kde-forum.org/index.html (pim post here too)

Hope that helps you, regards Glenn

JJV - I know nothing about kitchensysnc, but missing dependencies often occur because you have not set up the on-line media sources.

If you have set up online sources, then you may have to report a bug against task-blackberry-kde.

Sorry, I don't know how to help with your specific problem. However I can give you a suggestion on improving your chances of getting help from people that know the answer.

When you don't communicate clearly, it can be difficult to understand what you are asking. Adequate punctuation is vital to clear communications. An omitted or misplaced punctuation mark can sometimes drastically alter the meaning of what you write. Not understanding all of the formal rules for punctuation is not necessarily a major problem, but at least ending every sentence with a period will do wonders in making your question easier to understand.

Here is an amusing example of the usefulness of punctuation. It's a long URL so you may need to cut&paste into your browser.
