LE 2005 source

you mean a "download source" (as in "download location") or do you mean "source code"??

if you just want to download the ISOs here's a mirror:

ftp://mirror.pacific.net.au/linux/Ma...iso/10.2/i586/

I mean source code... i am prolly overlooking something but i cannot find it... please bear in mind i am complete noob. I want to use some drivers... but i need to have and be able to manipulate the kernel source code (that part i will prolly have help in) right now i just need to find the source code

well, here's the source RPMs: ftp://mirror.pacific.net.au/linux/Ma....2/SRPMS/main/

but i don't think that's what you want... it seems like what you want is the kernel-source package... i believe you can install that by doing a "urpmi kernel-source"... the kernel source will then be placed somewhere like "/usr/src/linux"... or just look in your CD for the appropriate kernel-source package and install it using "rpm -i"...

Hey you guys

I am interested in downloading the whole source code of Mandriva Limited Edition 2005

I have been looking for it but can't find it. ( I wanna say complete source code) I am looking forward to compile my own version.

I will appreciate it , if someone can point me to it... via bitorrent is OK. or FTP doesnt matter.

Thanks,

just look in the SRPMS directory of any mirror... those are the source packages...

As win32sux said the easiest way is to just get the Source RPMs from a mirror. I'm curious though - why do you want to recompile it?
