kernel panic in mandriva 10.2 ppc
Hi all,
Trying to install mandriva 10.2 on a lombard g3, the installer won't even load completely before kernel panics... no init found, try passing init= option to kernel.. I know this is somewhat of a common error after crashes, but this hdd is blank.. just trying to fresh install Any suggestions to stick with mandriva? or should I just go ahead and jump to ydl? Thanks in advance, Chris |
Maybe the disk is scratched?
If you just burned it, maybe it didn't burn correctly? At any rate, you're probably looking for a reason that the drive cannot read the disk properly. |
