Could someone please edit this person't signature?

I have to do too much scrolling when he posts. :(

IMHO, his signature is just fine. In fact, at least one of the mods has a much longer signature. Have you asked HIM to shorten his signature, if it bothers you?

I can't send him a personal message. And what's fine about having a long signature that messes up the format of the page? I have to scroll back and forth just to read posts.

Matir 07-29-2005 10:35 PM

I guess he (or someone) did edit it anyway. *shrug* Maybe it's just the size of my screen, but I wasn't bothered.

trickykid 07-29-2005 10:48 PM

In the future, please send such requests privately to Jeremy or report it from within the forums.

Thanks.

Note that you also can choose whether or not to display sig blocks in your User CP -- J.W.

I thought it was a feature which just contributing members could use. Well, I must be mistaken, probably.
Anyway, it's neat to not have to 'suffer' some signatures and avoid ads, as well.

cheers

Turn off signatures display in your user profile. No more problem... you can be free of signatures while others are free to use signatures if they want.

That's why the option is their in the UserCP. Feel free to use it ;)

titanium_geek 07-30-2005 04:34 PM

What's your screen resolution at? I'm using 1024x768 and I have to scroll a lot at his posts.

I couldn't send him a personal message. I'm not a contributing member.

Exactly! This is going to be a problem for a lot of people, not just me.

But there are signatures that I would like to see though.

You can send an e-mail to jeremy. Just click on the e-mail link under one of his posts or from his user profile.

Yes, this is the correct way to resolve an issue when it's on a border line of dealing with matters on a personal issue.

If you ever have a problem with a users signature, post, thread or anything dealing with them in the forums or this site, report it and let a Moderator or Jeremy handle it.

heema 07-31-2005 09:20 AM

sorry but i really dont see anything wrong with the sig. as its not offensive and it hides a good message ;)
