Interesting -- very detailed instructions & description, good post.

I wonder how many idiots will post:
  • from outside the stated geographical zone,
  • a link to a CV,
  • a stupid question like, "Can I tele-commute?",
  • months or years after the stated deadline is passed,
  • other creative stupidity.
<cynicism />

Yes, I subscribe to this forum & I am constantly amazed at the number of posts expressing interest in a job, but indicating total failure to either a) understand, or b) read all of the OP.

Time zone maybe?

I am guessing the company is in Europe not in the US that is why.

To maintain servers in a dead time like late night, sys admins from India or EU are good for US based Companies and vica-versa. But not for coding in this case.

But nobody applied for the job. And no one has still asked the dreaded questions yet. I am waiting. Bit of fun reading those.

That seems odd: Why would the Country of Origin, rather than the Country of Residence determine your time zone?

Can get your salary via paypal...just shows the extent to which I am out of touch with the modern world, I suppose.

Salary by Paypal...... that's weird mean what if someone want to buy a house, then will the bank accept the paypal account transactions for giving a loan???

brandon74 04-19-2010 01:09 PM

how much you paying?

Check the original post (which is dated late last year, BTW).
