i thought i give you the answer (for your 'extra' knowledge):
there's an entire category call 'outliners'
there's a lot to go through so not sure what's the best at the moment, but quick examples are:

* dynalist
* checkvist

historical examples are workflowry, etc.

btw i didn't actually change the bare minimal needs at all

i should also mention (for you 'extra' knowledge) that what im looking for is exceptionally basic, it's 2017

there are amazing things out there, so what im looking for is pretty 'ancient'

also onenote that's been here for a very very long time -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_OneNote

already does this

doesn't really meet #5 though

i don't really understand your posts.

you have been given quite a few things that might meet all or part of your demands/wishes.

what about those?

why are you namedropping some (unknown to me) presumably old software?

or are you somehow trying to prove that you are "right" and somebody else is "wrong"???

and what has a link to mintforums "Can't Boot From USB At Start" got to do with anything???
:scratch:

using onenote as search query i get a lot of results:

"Yeah, free software sucks, huh?"

-- all those mentioned are free

"Folding bulleted lists?"

still don't know what is meant by shiny in this context, but everything said is extremely basic

It's Habitual.
Show some respect. I don't owe you any answers, only clues. Get your own answers.

"shiny" is a label used for any feature that catches a user's eye.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_folding in any language you choose.

Mediawiki as suggested.
