Is the following of any use?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WikipediaFS

There are other initiatives such as https://github.com/trewtzu/wikiFS

If you have a look around, you might find something that suits your needs.

Hmm, more or less. The Plan 9 wikifs integrates nicely into 9P and its other applications, but it is missing from plan9port as far as I can see.

But your links are still nice to have, thank you. :)

Hoster

I would like to see Hoster, the MTU karaoke program, ported to Linux. The others don't really cut it.

FAIRSTARS 1.90 CD Ripper

This is the BEST CD Ripper I've used....period! Would love to have it added to the Linux systems.

Sound Juicer is pretty good.

RE: Mr. Macintosh

I do not doubt the abilities of SoundJuicer, but should you check out Fairstars 1.90/2.00, I believe you'll understand.

Fairstars CD Ripper 1.90/2.00 By far, the most comprehensive and user friendly ripper I've used... bar none!!!

Well, recently I've been toying with an Android podcast app called "CastBox". I would really like to run this app on my Linux machine, so I tried to find a Linux version, but it doesn't seem to exist.

You should be able to find something that you like
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php...odcast_clients

I installed Liferea and gpodder, but they weren't quite as nice as CastBox. I wanted to install Vocal, but the ppa I looked up didn't seem current. I may still be able to figure out how to get it installed. I'll keep investigating.

how do you expect to translate a mobile android interface to a linux desktop?
oh yes, you probably "need" electron...

Some soft to manipulate .DWG files (2D & 3D) from autocad.

jlinkels 06-23-2018 08:43 AM

I think there is no subject which has as many Wiki pages as Linux CAD. Check out this one:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compar...design_editors

Be aware however, that despite of the many programs which exist, only a few might comply to your needs, the import/export capabilities, the design capabilities etc etc. It takes some careful studying and testing to see which one fits your needs best.
