I would like to see something along the lines of Bluestacks or NOX that actually works. Ive tried ANbox, and Genimotion and neither worked for me. Using Mint Cinnamon 20.1 - 21.2 depending on the time of attempt and nothing has worked properly so far so I can use regular Android or IPhone apps/games on my desktop computer.

That you have to learn how to work with them. Not everybody is keen on learning new things.

@TheDarkArtist. I would think Visual Studio Code should be "kinda" Visual Studio IDE, and it is ported to Linux and free.

Of course, if you don't like (or want to spend a few minutes learning another IDE's button placements). Then just install VS Code, it's pretty much the same thing as VS Community, just without the visual form designers.

Personally, if I want to make DotNet stuff in Linux, I just go with MonoDevelop. IMO, that's an even better IDE than VS itself and looks and works pretty much exactly like VS (just more).

More specifically I'm talking about unity, c# ide
In vscode you have to set up ominisharp server, if only I can have an ide like rider that is free

Just like visual studio, we have for windows, that is not available for linux and they are removing it from mac also.
