System Specifics
 

i am running a P4 1.7GHZ with 318 megs of ram and two video cards that are decently new one being the GForce MX 200 and the other is a GForce TNT/Riva 64

when i try and install Slackware 8.1 everything goes perfectly untill i try and run X so i mess around with the config files <not sure wich one> but it is a graphical display that shows your tower keyboard and mouse as well as the video cards and monitors all linked by a black line and each one has its on configs. in it such as refresh rate ect... and everything in this file looks ok but i still can not run X to load kde or anything any sugguestions on how to fix this problem:newbie:

So ... how are you starting it after install?
And what error messages are you getting
when it fails?

The tool you're talking about is xf86cfg, btw...
