Exclamation System Specifics

i am running a P4 1.7GHZ with 318 megs of ram and two video cards that are decently new one being the GForce MX 200 and the other is a GForce TNT/Riva 64

when i try and install Slackware 8.1 everything goes perfectly untill i try and run X so i mess around with the config files <not sure wich one> but it is a graphical display that shows your tower keyboard and mouse as well as the video cards and monitors all linked by a black line and each one has its on configs. in it such as refresh rate ect... and everything in this file looks ok but i still can not run X to load kde or anything any sugguestions on how to fix this problem

So ... how are you starting it after install?
And what error messages are you getting
when it fails?

The tool you're talking about is xf86cfg, btw...
