gaim is nice - supports msn and other messaging networks

http://gaim.sourceforge.net (your distro will probably include a version as well)

Oxagast 10-09-2003 05:45 AM

If you just want MSN, use AMSN.

I found amsn very distrubing.. buggy and bad.. thought it would it att least support user-photo och webcam action. In my opinion gaim is better than amsn.. i havent tried Firebird.. anyone with experiance from that?

Found gaim to be the buggy one... keeps crashing and never manages to sign on..!!

Yes. I prefer aMSN (I only use MSN Messenger so it satisfies my needs) ... and it is a very active project, too.

Check out Kopete for KDE if your running it.

Someone else suggested KMess. It's very nice, but a little buggy.

you could also use centericq, it has support for msn too, has a " BIOS " appearance, works fine :P.

Once again, if you have nothing constructive to say, then move on to the next thread. This forum was not here for you to make rude and comments that are deemed uncalled for.

Regards.
