linux installation
I have installed LINUX 9.0 with windows in my friend's computer.tell me how to uninstall linux & add the space to windows

if you have something like partition magic (real easy program to use for windows) you can tell partition magic to just delete the linux partition and resize the windows partition over the newly created free space. then you'll have to fix your mbr which is done differently depending on which version of windows you use. what version of windows are you using?

Thanks for everything.
Can fdisk be used for this purpose? Using fdisk I succeeded once and failed once. I don't know the reason....can anyone tell?? Adil |
I dont remember if fdisk can fix the MBR.. but you could use fdisk to repartition the linux drive yes.

well for win9x-ME systems, if you made a windows boot floppy, fdisk is used to fix the mbr. the command to run while booting from a floppy is:
fdisk /mbr |
I just want to know how to uninstall linux 9.0 without using partition magic
