GTK+ 1.2 font madness
Hi everyone.
I tried for days to change gtk1 font sizes without success. I tried creating .gtkrc in my home directory and using gtk-theme-switch. GTK themes DO switch, toolbars and widgests DO change, but fonts remain too little to read. I really don't know what to do more. Any suggestions? Thanx |
did u try putting a link to ur /usr/bin/gnome-settings-daemon in the startup list of programs? it's in the autostart folder of .kde folder.

i'm trying ... but what if i don't run kde?
making a simple symbolic link in the home/user/.kde/Autostart folder is enough? |

fonts are not messed up in gnome cause gnome uses gtk2 library and gtk2 fonts show up great.
it's GTK1 fonts that are unreadable. |
