fluxbox and mouse rate

I have one of those annoying and somewhat worn down eraser head mice on my IBM Stinkpad. I've never been an X-warrior, and up until a few days ago I've been a regular KDE user, where you can adjust the mouse rate in KDE. Is there a simple way to do this within Fluxbox? If not, I know there's a way to do it in X, which I'm mortally afraid of...

Cheers,

Finegan

Hey Fin, did you try http://rsim.cs.uiuc.edu/~sachs/tp-scroll/
it claims to work with stinkpads and there is another daemon espacially for thinkpads ... tp4d burried somewhere in the debris of freshmeat and http://www.linux-thinkpad.org/
Anyway I couldn't find tp4d but at freshmeat's tp-scroll page it says: "...[tp-scroll] is not related to, but is compatible with, the Trackpoint hardware control daemon tp4d."
