CAD for linux... what would you recommend?

So.. just wondering, many of those know that CAD is probably one of the downsides of using Linux for an Engineer. I am not particular about CAD software, but was wondering are there any good CAD software that is for linux?

Requirements:
- 3D
- FREE as in FREE BEER!! (QCAD ain't really free, at least the pro isn't)

Thanks

Is this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FreeCAD_%28software%29 any use to you? Might be worth a look.

CAD and linux ha-ha-ha-ha

just as soon as the main CAD-cam companies do linux and Mac builds ( auto-cad on Linux ???? )
most ONLY run on MS Windows ONLY and support MS only .

I'm agreeing with John_VV on this one, sometimes it is necessary to grasp the nettle if you need supported software. :(
