Bios!!!!!!help!!!!!!!!
 

help help i want to test my livecd of pclinuxos and when i enter my bios at the bootsequence there are only 3 possibilities harddrive,opticaldrive and removable devices, nut no cd-rom so what to do i don't have a floppy so i can't use a bootdisc
dammm what a prob i googled but couldn't find a thing and the phoenix guide is not availble help me please

anyone?????

How old is your BIOS?

Sometimes CD drives are called Optical Drives, becuase they use lasers! Give it a go..You beat me, my quickest bump was 14 minuites

Umm... well I don't think you need to be too worried about "your BIOS crashing" if you choose the wrong option - it'll mostly just say something like "unbootable system" or something - just Crtl-Alt-Del it.

What you need to do is enter CMOS / BIOS Setup Utility / or whatever comes with your motherboard. There, you might need to set what you can boot to, and what options will come up. As XavierP says, how old is your BIOS?

my bios is 1 years old
ok but when i leave the bios there comes "windows will be continued now" maby i should have rebooted without making changes i'll see in the cmos setup
