Hello Dr.X,
I don't think you can have a system snapshot unless your VPS running on a vmware esxi kind of thing. If you want to backup your configuration there are few options. I have an ownCloud server running and I have it mounted to my server with webdav. I'm using some bash scripts to pack and move files to webdav everyday. This is working good so far, last week I had a server failure and my backups were up to date. Or you can install webmin, it has backup-restore config files option. If you can give us some detail about what you actually need I think people can help you better. |
