r-desktopping

Hi, all!

I tried whole night to get a clue...but i dont.

i just set up my nice Linux-server, running Redhat 9.0

Now i want to access it, probably with a Windows2k machine or another linux (later)

I googled around and searched the forum, but i didnt make it.

I already have vnc (says redhat...i dont find it...) and tsclient installed on the linux machine...but it seems thats the wrong way :) My guess it that these two are just the clients, but where is the server?

i couldnt find rdesktop or something similar that i could put on the linux-machine...

please help and provide urls (and fail-safe instructions?)

i am getting a hunchback already, because that linux-server isnt really comfy to work on, sitting on the floor...

Thanks!

....Lazy bum, cannot do ssh. :D

I am aware that some kind of remote destops exist for main-stream distros, but i am not aware of their names though.

but on http://www.rdesktop.org/ it just shows how to put an rdesktop on an Windows-Machine...

"rdesktop is an open source client for Windows NT Terminal Server and Windows 2000/2003 Terminal Services"

how do i put it on my lovely linux?

thanx

Do you mean that you want to see the linux desktop?
Then use either vncserver or a remote X connection - you will need to install cygwin on windows if you want to do that though.
