r-desktopping

Hi, all!

I tried whole night to get a clue...but i dont.

i just set up my nice Linux-server, running Redhat 9.0

Now i want to access it, probably with a Windows2k machine or another linux (later)

I googled around and searched the forum, but i didnt make it.

I already have vnc (says redhat...i dont find it...) and tsclient installed on the linux machine...but it seems thats the wrong way My guess it that these two are just the clients, but where is the server?

i couldnt find rdesktop or something similar that i could put on the linux-machine...

please help and provide urls (and fail-safe instructions?)

i am getting a hunchback already, because that linux-server isnt really comfy to work on, sitting on the floor...

Thanks!

....Lazy bum, cannot do ssh.

I am aware that some kind of remote destops exist for main-stream distros, but i am not aware of their names though.

Do you mean that you want to see the linux desktop?
Then use either vncserver or a remote X connection - you will need to install cygwin on windows if you want to do that though.
