quick File Manager question
 
I know this sounds petty, but can anyone tell me how to make File Manager open folders in the same window? In other words, not spawn a new instance of file manager every time I click a folder?

This is in GNOME in Fedora 4.

That behavior annoyed me and a lot of other people too. Here is the fix:

Using GConf (Fedora -> System Tools -> Configuration Editor) and go to the /apps/nautilus/preferences key. You can then apply a tick alongside the always_use_browser key. Log out of GNOME, and upon re-logging in, your new changes would take effect.
