No euro-sign in RHEL 5

Hi,

I can't get the EuroSign assigned to any key at all.
I've tried this: Open homefolder on desktop -> Settings -> Regional and Accessibility -> Keyboard layout -> Xkb options -> Then i check Add the EuroSign to the E key -> Apply.

(Command: setxkbmap -option eurosign:e)

¤ <- is what i get when i press Alt Gr + e

NOTE: I'm running with a danish keyboard layout.

Any ideas?

OK, seeing as no-one else has had a go, let's try this even though it's a long shot. On my (admittedly UK) keyboard ALT GR and 4 brings up € even though I have not had to install anything special to do it.

Also this is Mandriva and I have no idea whether the € sign is on your E key!

Good luck! :)

You could try setting a Compose Key and then use Compose C=

If all else fails, look at the following to see how to modify your keyboard:
