Need help for switch over issues

Switched over to linux, running a dual boot manager on my HP, vista on other side when needed. Presently in Iraq so I use this laptop for all comms.
1. installed skype, but the screen is much different, do not have phone keyboard, and when i call it says Audio playback error????

Installed thunderbird but I can not find a run file or any way to get it to load. keeps giving me a file menu but nothing happens??

Trying to find a good download for Itunes. what is the wine co/partner request.

What the hell happened to all my xmarks I had setup in vista. I had a couple hundred,all synced, but when i open them up in linux they are not to be found.

Thanx for bearing with me while I figure this out.

Hello Steven and welcome to LQ :)

You may attract better responses and they will be easier to follow if you start a separate thread for each of your questions identifying the problem area in the title in each case and giving details of the distro (version of Linux) and relevant software. See LQ's How to Ask a Question for more details and more at How To Ask Questions The Smart Way.

Best

I don't use ubuntu but you can do a search here on LQ or Google. Probably a configuration problem or check your mixer.

Not sure which environment your using. You should have a 'Application Finder'. KDE 'Application Finder' is in the 'utilities'.

So many, Google > 'wine co/partner request'

Google > 'Linux Itunes'

LQ Search & Google are your friends. You would be surprised to the number of similar requests. :)

You will need to import. This is GNU/Linux not M$ Windows. You can import bookmarks. If you want xmarks then > search results

I suggest that you look at the next two links;
