Scroll on touchpad

I have a Compaq 2135 and this is the best information I have found to get the synaptics touchpad to work on Mandrake 10. Just remember to log in as root to install. Your HP should be the same?

Just as a reminder...for any Linux distribution that you download, I'd recommend performing checksums on them OR checking the media during installation to make sure it's good.

Did you try using ndiswrapper for your wireless yet? I have never had a problem getting it to work with any linux or card.
