Linux apps black screen on Samsung Chromebook
I am trying to run the 3D printing software ideaMaker using Linux on my Chromebook.
My penguin terminal runs fine and I was able to install ideaMaker, but when I run the program it opens a window which is all black and I can't do anything with it. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Thank you |
If you at least try a quick search for: Ideamaker black screen you'll easily and quickly find what other people suggest you put here... or even https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...osting-356388/ &c... :hattip:

Jamison,
Thanks for the suggestion. A search for several variations of the issue did not yield any helpful results. |
I forgot to say hi. Hi! :D
This one https://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=13392 in particular asks* for e.g: graphics info? The :newbie:s links above like sitemaps and others you'll find: "how to ask questions" or more importantly give required info for help? Software and website designers often have to test their work on many platforms, hard and soft... that's part of why I like open source,,, there's communities to help them out? There's also a link in my signature under the word roots. As you'll see I'm often too vague but you basically need to give a lot more information if you're expecting help? |
Chromebook isn't enough information about your graphics system for others to be of much help with black screen trouble. Run inxi -GSazin an X terminal and show us its output.
