How to install bittorrent

I have mandrake 9.1 and i have been trying to install bittorrent.I have tried many rpms and on each one there is a problem.Some says that they have bad signatures, some abort installation due to some errors. Some says that I need python, and I have installed python from installation disc.
There one this one case that it said "everything already installed" but the problem is that i can't find the program.I have tried to find it with kfind, but no resault.
Tell me please the exact procedure to install bittorrent.
I would rather have BT++ and I also downloaded it(.gz file).I extracted the file and i followed "cd src ->python "BT++.py"->cd .. " but it didn't complete.It said "[blaz@localhost src]$ python "BT++.py"
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "BT++.py", line 7, in ?

What do I have to do to have bittorrent installed?
Please help!

Hello there, maybe you should try a different torrent client, I run azureus and it rocks, you only need jre installed and download the files from azureus.sourceforge.net youn download, extract the folder and run the program, there is no need to compile everything
