How to install bittorrent

I have mandrake 9.1 and i have been trying to install bittorrent.I have tried many rpms and on each one there is a problem.Some says that they have bad signatures, some abort installation due to some errors. Some says that I need python, and I have installed python from installation disc.
There one this one case that it said "everything already installed" but the problem is that i can't find the program.I have tried to find it with kfind, but no resault.
Tell me please the exact procedure to install bittorrent.
I would rather have BT++ and I also downloaded it(.gz file).I extracted the file and i followed "cd src ->python ""->cd .. " but it didn't complete.It said "[blaz@localhost src]$ python ""

What do I have to do to have bittorrent installed?
Please help!
