if only he/she tried to be a bit more precise about the error someone might have helped. you really should add some details about your question so we could know what you are talking about.

This site should award a prize for the most useless thread title with the most useless initial post content, followed up by the most incomprehensible follow up posts.
This thread would certainly win. |

If Jeremy could only get the code changed so that an attempt to start a "Help Me" thread would display in big flashing red letters "Can't you be bothered to read the instructions? One More Time: DO NOT POST with the subject Help Me !!!!!!!!!"
Unfortunately, that would probably result in moral outrage and a call to their congresswomen. =/ |
Must be a window$ issue, since window$ uses the term administer.
If so, s\he is in the wrong place in this forum. |

I did find them by googling
Windows administrator Unknown Username Or Bad Password I then went through 10 pages of hits, looking through the ones with promising descriptions. I then whittled them down to these by reading through each one and selecting those that would seem to me to spell out a plain solution. I helped him out and learned something in the process. I have not tried to implement this solution, as I don't have his problem, but if he attempts this and runs into errors, we can repeat the procedure until he succeeds. If you read through the links, following a "tree" of references cited, I feel you would agree. |
Gosh, I have no idea what any of this was about but it was fun to read.

Whist not defined to be Linux, I can't see that it was definitely Windows, he said "administer" not "Administrator", which is just someone using the wrong words and grammar.
