What distro (you still runnin RH?)? You can remove lilo from the mbr with:
/sbin/lilo -u

This should remove lilo, and restore the win boot loader. No problems. Then using PM again, delete the linux partition, resize your win partition (or create a second win partition) and have fun :)

Cool

As Johnny Carson used to say, "I did not know that!"

Getting rid of Linux Partition

I just had to remove a minor disaster called Suse 10.1 from a dual boot box (with WinME) and PMagic did all the hard work. Don't know anything about WinXP but if you can get a DOS prompt then Fdisk /mbr seems to avoid any booting problems.
I believe that PMagic will merge two partitions but it is advised not to hold your breath while it is doing so.
Decided not to merge in this case since it may be handy to have a spare partition to accommodate some of the Windows baggage.
I think that dual booting is a bit of a mug's game so my next Linux adventure will be on a dedicated box.
