Windows ICS and Debian Linux

I have a server running Windows XP(192.168.0.1). My other machine is a laptop with debian Woody installed (192.168.0.3).

A month ago I typed:
#ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.3 netmask 255.255.255.0
#route add default gw 192.168.0.1
in debian console for using internet through Windows ICS and everything worked fine, but yesterday, although I reinstalled debian in the laptop choosing *the same* options as before, I haven't internet connection through Windows ICS and that commands are useless for configuring it properly.
Can anybody help me? don't know what to do :( .

Thanks in advance.
