Transparent Proxy
 

Okay, here's the problem. . . I am stuck getting my internet connection to my linux box through the aol connection on my windows box. My parents will not ditch the aol. However, proxying the aol connection causes lots of problems and i've been dealing with them but I think it's time to find a better solution. I need a way to get a transparent proxy from my windows box to my linux box. This dial up isn't heling either.

No clue how to make a transparent proxy on Windows boxes without having a Windows server, but you could always try replacing the AOL sounds (Welcome, Good-Bye, You Have mail, etc.) with burps and other annoying sounds and maybe your parents will switch :p
