Arghhh i forgot i did remove a port access into my firewall ....
was it 113 or 143 ? i cannot remember ! Which one is used by telnet ( or Webmail ) ? Do i have to forward this port to my webmail server in the orange zone ? |
Well, I used telnet not for normal telnet, but to act as a mail program. You need to unblock SMTP port (25) and probably POP3/IMAP. Yes, you need to forward it to the server.

I did unlock the port 25 and forward to my IP in the orange zone .... guess what ?
it is now working perfectly !!!! YIPEEEEEEEEEE I've received my first email on my first network ! Great great great victory for me :D Thanks a lot MARA , i do really appreciate your help ! |
