Plotter with Linux??

Has anybody an idea where i can find some info about running a plotter with linux (that big things that print out big drawings).
When i do searches i always find a lot of plotters for formulas - doesn't help a lot.

Just consider a plotter and different flavor of a printer. Properly cable the device to the machine. Setup a print queue for it and give it a name. There are a lot of examples in the original /etc/printcap file.

The program you use for CAD will need to have a driver for the plotter though. I do not know of any filter programs for converting PostScript to any plotter languages though.

Cheers.

Thanks - i dived into the whole thing a bit and seems like i might get lucky and the plotter understands postscript2.It's an oce and you hardly can get any info out of that guys.I'll just treat it as an HP and see what happens on monday.
