Plotter with Linux??

Has anybody an idea where i can find some info about running a plotter with linux (that big things that print out big drawings).
When i do searches i always find a lot of plotters for formulas - doesn't help a lot.

Just consider a plotter and different flavor of a printer. Properly cable the device to the machine. Setup a print queue for it and give it a name. There are a lot of examples in the original /etc/printcap file.

The program you use for CAD will need to have a driver for the plotter though. I do not know of any filter programs for converting PostScript to any plotter languages though.

Cheers.
