HP Pavilion Touchpad

I have a problem with my notebook, for windows its function of double click on the touchpad is fine but for Linux it seems kinda crazy no matter what i do. Anyone know a way to cancel this or even totaly disable it ?

Update driver?

Try getting the latest update for your touchpad driver for your distro. My touchpad works fine under Fedora Core 5.
