HP Pavilion Touchpad


I have a problem with my notebook, for windows its function of double click on the touchpad is fine but for Linux it seems kinda crazy no matter what i do. Anyone know a way to cancel this or even totaly disable it ?

i use hp nc6230 i disable tapping because tap hehehe not work as i need
but i dont know what your problem is

if it the same with me then look at xorg.conf maxtap put 0 under that device

Option "MaxTapTime" "0"

Update driver?

Try getting the latest update for your touchpad driver for your distro. My touchpad works fine under Fedora Core 5.
