how to UBOOT a DM368 with no access to change boot mode

Hi all, new to this forum but not its products.
This question kinda of spans both hardware and software so I chose here to post it.

I have a board with a Ti dm368 with a NAND flash chip behind it. The UBOOT in the flash is bad and I can see this while connected to the UART. I do not have the ability to change the boot mode to UART as this process is not known for this board and there is no boot pins marked on it.

Is there a way to UBOOT the dm368 without changing boot mode? There is also a JTAG and a 10 pin debug connection on the board. I was hoping that there might be a utility that allows direct interaction with the dm368 to be able to run the UBOOT.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

For reference the board is out of a GoPro Karma drone. GoPro support will not supply any information about the board or how to change boot mode.
