Until now no success yet. The only progress is in the fact I am learning :-)
Is there a way to point to the graphics card by means of jumpers or something like that?

If setting the video to 'PCIe' didnt help, this is what to try-

Take the covers off the case, remove the video card. Clean the video card connector with an eraser or alcohol. Blow out the PCIe slot. Reinsert the video card, try again. If that doesnt work the last trrick is to clear the CMOS (whioch is why I dont put the cover back on until the issue is fixed or at least known)

If those steps dotn work, testing the video card in another machine, and/or a different video card in the problem machine can help you figure out what is going on. If the card works in a different system its probably an issue with your motherboard. If the card doesnt work in another system, or a different video card does work in the problem system, you've probably got a dead card.

Yes indeed, think your completely right! I have already tried another card. That didn't work to. So if cleaning of the slot does not work, probably the motherboard is the issue.
I will let you know what happens...
