Display issue.
I am using Acer travelmate 2400 Series notebook. When try to install Linux it couldn't able to identify the correct display, so when I selected one of the acer display settings from the list, it is not giving the proper display. Plz suggest me to how to do this?
Thanx in adv. |
What distro did you try to install? Suse 10, Mandriva 2006, CentOS 4.3 and Fedora Core 5, work fine for me on a Travelmate 2413 without any problems (The display is automatically detected). If you keep having problems, try using generic LCD settings.

Linux dispay issue
Redhat. When I am giving a generic one is having the same problem.

What version of Redhat? If its Redhat 9 or RHEL 3.x then you may experience problems because they are old distros and the hardware detection may not be very good on newer machines.
