Dell DJ I Need to Mount!!!
I have a dell dj that I need to recover some data from. I can't seem to mount the player though.
I've tried to load up gnomad 2.8.2 but it freezes when it's reading the data. I have the usb-storage modules loaded and my dmesg output is below, it's not showing any kinda of device to mount. Anyone have any suggestions/help cause I really need to get a raw image from this device. dmesg usb 2-2: USB disconnect, address 2 usb 2-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3 usb 2-2: usbfs: USBDEVFS_CONTROL failed cmd gnomad2 rqt 32 rq 253 len 0 ret -84 usb 2-2: USB disconnect, address 3 usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4 usb 2-1: USB disconnect, address 4 usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 5 usb 2-1: USB disconnect, address 5 usb 2-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 6 usb 2-2: usbfs: USBDEVFS_CONTROL failed cmd gnomad2 rqt 32 rq 253 len 0 ret -84 usb 2-2: USB disconnect, address 6 usb 2-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 7 lsusb Bus 002 Device 007: ID 041e:4126 Creative Technology, Ltd lsdev uhci_hcd ef40-ef5f ef80-ef9f uhci_hcd:usb1 5 uhci_hcd:usb2 9 |
You may have to load up usb-storage and sd_mod if they are not loaded.

I don't have an sd_mod but I have already loaded my usb-storage module

have you checked gnomad dependencies? a quick browse of their website says you need the following:
* libnjb CVS version * libid3tag 0.15b * libusb 0.1.8 (or higher) |
