Booting with CDrom on Mac Performa 6200 series

Hello I am a newbie that is struggling to install Yellowdog onto a MAC Performa 6200 series computer. The problem is that I can not figure out how to get into the bios so that I can set the CDRom up as the first boot device.

Can anyone that is familiea with MAC systems advise me on how to resolve this issue, PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSE??

If i remember correctly you hold down 'C' or 'Apple + C' as the computer is booting.

It might even be Apple + option + backspace + plus the number key relating to the scsi id of the cdrom drive but i think thats for very old macs.

There is another issue as well depending on what version of the motherboard system rom the computer has ( new world / old world ) to boot linux you have to have a working mac partition, boot into that then you have a control panel which then boots into yellow dog.

All the info on the should be avaliable from the yellow dog installation FAQ.
