you can get it better by tuning the individual drives, what is each drive getting?
also it depends on the type of raid. With two disks you can go for redundency or performance. To get both you need more disks If the disks are on two different controllers it may help some too. The speed of the computer make a huge difference. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&i...=Google+Search |
Well each drive seems to be getting 39, so I'm not sure why software RAID would lower that. I wonder if slave/master would affect that as I have both the drives on the same IDE cable, one's a primary master, the other primary slave.
