NT ACL Samba Share
Does any one has setup a Samba Share on Linux and try to change its permission using NT Security dialog box?
Thank you. |
Yes
Yes, I do have that set up and it works great.
|
How did you do it?
|
1. Get the ACL patches for EXT2/EXT3, or run XFS.
2. Verify that the ACL actually works by using the getfacl/setfacl commands 3. Compile ACL support into Samba (./configure --with-acl-support) 4. Log onto a Samba share as the administrator of the samba box. 5. Test it to see if the change permissions dialog box works. |
Find Out?
