I tried xwing.aoltw.net (with POP3) and I got the same error message.
Netscape (or AOL) is not my ISP. I have an E-mail account with my local ISP and I can download and Sync my E-mail with the ISP E-mail server. But they provided for me the Server address, so it was easy to set it up. So, all I need is to know the Server address for Netscape.net to be able to download my E-mail and view it offline. I tied guessing the server name with many compinations of .net or .com but it didn't work. I hope I'm more clear now. |
I think the problem is that it's webmail and takes a special client like netscape mail client

Mozilla or Outlook express does not integrate with AOL Mail and Netscape WebMail Accounts
Quote from Mozilla release 1.3a: Mozilla does not integrate with AOL Mail and Netscape WebMail, as Netscape 6/7 do. If you share your Netscape 6/7 profile with Mozilla, you may be able to see headers for messages in the account's Inbox if you have previously checked one of these accounts in Netscape 6/7, but you will be unable to interact with the messages. To access your AOL Mail, WebMail, or Netscape Instant Messenger, you need to use Netscape 6/7. The same is true with Outlook Express. When can we have the so called patch from M$ or Mozilla? Aleast until then we may need to wait, or use Netsape 7.0. |
isp.netscape.com
