How can i change boot sequence to Windows 2000
Dear Friends,
I have a dual boot machine on which Windows 2000 and Redhat 9.0 is installed on the same harddisk. On booting of the machine it shows a menu to select the booting OS if nothing has been selected it goes for Linux. I want this default to go to Windows 2000. Can anyone suggest how to change this sequence? means by deafult i want to boot my machine to Windows 2000. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks and best regards Manmohan |
If you are using the Grub bootloader, then you need to edit the file /etc/grub.conf and change the value of the variable called default. (If its 0 I guess you should change it to 1 if you only have windows 2000 and redhat Linux installed).
