Angry How can i change boot sequence to Windows 2000

Dear Friends,

I have a dual boot machine on which Windows 2000 and Redhat 9.0 is installed on the same harddisk. On booting of the machine it shows a menu to select the booting OS if nothing has been selected it goes for Linux.

I want this default to go to Windows 2000. Can anyone suggest how to change this sequence? means by deafult i want to boot my machine to Windows 2000.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks and best regards

Manmohan

If you are using the Grub bootloader, then you need to edit the file /etc/grub.conf and change the value of the variable called default. (If its 0 I guess you should change it to 1 if you only have windows 2000 and redhat Linux installed).
