You know, on second thought, I'd ask Stallman if he'd buy off on the idea that he's the "Martin Luther of Computing."

And, if Stallman is Martin Luther, then who does that make Torvalds?

I'd put Mr. Volkerding into the analogy as Gabriel Zwilling.
