…not really crypto, but it's a special encoding anyhow. It's much, much easier than MD5, SHA1, et al.

Off topic, but I coincidentally found this interesting video a few days ago about the caveats of using Base64. I didn't even know about Base64 a few days ago. I found the bit about PHP obfuscation particularly fascinating. What do you think?
