In the Fist of your Hatred
By Gwendoline Konie

Like a worm I writhe in your tight fist
As you try to smother my voice
And my mind with your brutal grip;
Fear stalks the house of my brain
As your pepper-red eyes shout blood.

Your grip strangles my tongue
Your fingers sprinkle seeds of fear in my mind
And it sprouts like a raging bush fire.
You have set up fear as my companion
And I cringe from your bloodshot eyes.

Secret alarm bells sear my brain
And leave me burning with a wild rage
For I will not let fear swallow
My breath, my dreams, and my hopes!
My hidden courage will saw off your fist.

Politicians cannot undermine self-reliance without subverting self-government. The ultimate victim of handouts is democracy itself.– James Bovard, "How Government Buys Your Support" [February 17, 2016

Is it something in the water or something in the air that is infecting some Americans with some form of insanity; or is this just the result of the eventual slide into the " Idiocracy of Ignorance "?? -Cousin Lucky

We must confine ourselves to the powers described in the Constitution, and the moment we pass it, we take an arbitrary stride towards a despotic Government.– James Jackson

agitation.

there is a large class of people in the commun-
ity who always oppose the agitation of any new
question or doctrine. They are sure that some
terrible calamity will follow the advent of a newly
established measure in social or political govern-
ment. They view a new doctrine with fear and
distrust.

Who are these non-agitators? We shall find
them the least enterprising and the least useful
folks in the world. If their fathers believed in
witches, hell-fire, and cloven feet, ten to one,
those people who are afraid of agitation, believe
in the same dogmas and follies. They are con-
tent to be governed by the same laws, satisfied
with the same station in life, and thankful for as
much liberty as their ancestors enjoyed, without
asking any questions or causing any agitation.
They enjoy life in the same way that an alligator
enjoys a cold winter, by virtue of pure stupidity.

The fact is, we owe every improvement of the
age, every advance in science, government, and
art, to agitation. It lies at the foundation of all human good. ...

They'll shoot you when you're walkin' on the street,
They'll shoot you when you're tryin' to keep your seat.

They'll shoot you when you're watchin' video,
They'll shoot you when you're at the picture show.

They'll shoot you when you're playin' it cool,
They'll shoot you when you're goin' to school.

They'll shoot you when you're playin' your guitar,
They'll shoot you from your Uber car.

Almost seems like it's a lobbyist plot:
Everybody must get shot.

They'll say that we are very brave
As the shooting goes on over our grave!! -Tom Toles

There’s a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart that you can’t take part! You can’t even passively take part! And you’ve got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you’ve got to make it stop!”-Mario Savio

MANIFESTO OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY
...

I. BOURGEOIS AND PROLETARIANS

The history of all hitherto existing societies is the history
of class struggles.

Freeman and slave, patrician and plebeian, lord and serf,
guild-master and journeyman, in a word, oppressor and oppressed,
stood in constant opposition to one another, carried on an
uninterrupted, now hidden, now open fight, a fight that each time
ended, either in a revolutionary re-constitution of society at
large, or in the common ruin of the contending classes.
