a counter question, is what reason is there why anyone SHOULDN'T be allowed to smoke, drink alcohol and/or do drugs?

History has already demonstrated that banning things (alcohol for instance) simply DOESN'T WORK, it creates MORE problems than it portends to solve.

I commend our more senior members for the tolerant and patient way in which they expressed their views. Some opinions expressed in this thread, namely misrepresentation of facts related to Germany in the period 1930 to 1945, glorification of anything related to the aforementioned country and period and inviting people to take knowledge of lecture promoting violence, racial hatred and extremism are off topic, inappropriate and not in accordance with the LQ Rules.

It is my wish that respect for those who fought, suffered and died for your freedom guides your posting behavior.
Please do not condone, encourage or allow excesses like this to bear fruit ever again.
