Come on guys, let's be realistic here. The OP asked a question: how to remove Linux from a machine. acid_kewpie's very first reply was, in my opinion, a bit sarcastic in the very first line:

As if to say, "wow, what a stupid reason to remove Linux." It
doesn't matter what reason the OP has to remove Linux. The OP wants to remove it. So tell the OP how to remove it. The rest of acid_kewpie's message should be an alternative to removal
at the end of a message that details how to remove Linux.

PTrenholme gives an answer but takes a pot-shot at Windows at the end. What does that say? An insult to the OS that the OP has
chosen to use (for whatever reason)? Would you particularly
like it if you were going to rearrange the furniture in your house to the way you prefer and someone says "wow, that arrangement sucks, but it's your call."

Pixellany then goes on to question whether the OP is a troll.

Slantoflight then goes completely off-topic and decides to ponder the meaning and relevance of the word "need" as it relates to this thread.

Mega Man X then comes to the conclusion that the OP is incapable of using Google.
Rudeness? Noooooooo. I don't see anything that could be considered rude there.
Oh wait, then everyone jumps on the high road with the complaint of "you never say thanks." Should we all perform a search of the forum threads to see if every user replying in this thread has said "thank you" in response to
every thread they've started? I'll admit that I haven't said it in some of my threads, and I'm willing to bet most, if not all, are in the same boat.
Yes, all-caps is quite annoying to read. So the OP isn't without fault, but certainly not without cause.
